14 World Re-Nowned Workplace Experts' Advice
The work environment is where creativity has to bloom, where people get along and grow professionally. However, for many workers in the real world, due to workplace bullying and mobbing, it has come down to a field of terror, hostility, fear, and suffering. A very generous wealth of informative and insightful dynamics of communication in this easy to understand novelty e-book, created by 14 of the most famous authors in the field, which offer tools, methods, etc., for educational awareness, resources at finding common ground involving bullying and mobbing strategies to help victims and businesses as a whole.
Bullying in the workplace refers to a state where a group or one person repeatedly and intentionally inflicts damage on another person or a group, primarily due to issues of power imbalance.
Mobbing refers to a state where a group of employees gang up to covertly trigger, personally harass or physically assault one person, usually constructing a smear campaign against the innocent employee therefore creating foul atmosphere that results in victims having extreme mental and physical health problems. Many times, this group behavior doesn't stop at work.
This behavior deserves more concrete penalties than the direct victim's fate: it affects work group relationships, productivity, and eventually destroys the company culture.
All authors bring something unique to the eBook foreword on toxic workplaces like bullying and mobbing, increasing awareness and intervention. They offer real-life examples and emotional stories that illustrate how critical it is for businesses to promote a culture of respect and inclusiveness.
One such expert talks about the psychological impact on bullying victims, such as how chronic stress can lead to severe health consequences, from depression and anxiety to physical illness. Employers need to understand that the investment in mental health services not only benefits individuals but also creates cohesiveness and motivation among the work team.
Still another expert pens an article on bystanders and how they can contribute to workplace bullying. Bystanders can perpetuate the vicious cycle or create a valuable support system among the victims. Many times, coworkers will join in on the abuse because if they don't, they themselves will be bullied too and ostracized by the group.
The author and coauthors give recommendations on how best to create a culture of support in which employees would feel comfortable standing up to bullies on their own behalf without fear of victimization themselves. Educational Training programs along with structured communication that give accountability and respect are always suggested.
It also delineates the legal consequences of bullying in the workplace in this eBook. Workers' rights advocates assist by detailing how an organization cannot be passive in developing policies for protecting its employees. They emphasize that businesses have to establish correct reporting mechanisms and hold regular training sessions for employees about their rights and obligations.
Furthermore, this eBook highlights especially leadership power in addressing mobbing and bullying.
Note a recurring theme among these leaders:
Leadership sets the beat in terms of organizational culture.
Through modeling respect, facilitating open communication, and being extremely visibly involved, leadership can decrease negativity in teams by orders of magnitude.
As this eBook goes along, it will be clear that overcoming the obstacles of workplace mobbing and bullying is everybody's responsibility. While these specialists share good advice, tips and strategies on how to apply them, it is ultimately the employees and the employer who need to be dedicated to establishing a positive and healthy work culture.
This eBook is therefore a core educational resource for any worker who is a victim of workplace bullying, harassment and mobbing. It combines the knowledge and experience of 14 leading experts to assist employees and organizations in creating a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture. With the right tools and commitment, it is possible to turn the tide against the negative consequences of bullying and create a healthier, more productive workplace for all.

I just purchased your book last night and I am learning
so much, even in the first pages. It was worth the $17.00 I spent. I hope to learn
how to deal with the nonsense that is going on at my job right now, that the
owners clearly don't want to deal with.

READER REVIEW!
Just wanted to let you know I had my second deposition
in my work comp case and your e-book helped me so much. The HR lady showed up as
she did for the 1st depo with lots of plots and stories to make me look like I
was the one who caused the problems and was a liar. I calmly and truthfully
answered each question and blew up her plans and stories. After reading your
book I was not intimidated as I was in the first deposition. My lawyer said it
was one of the best depositions he's been in and he has been in practice a very
long time. Thank you so much for writing your book. Realizing it was not me,
that I was the victim of mobbing and that HR was not my friend empowered me and
helped me so much. Seems the gossip at work about me must have been in full
force because they brought up some ludicrous things to make me look bad.
Ironically in all actuality I have in the end the power over them. I find that
very funny. Karma. My lawyer is feeling very positive about a very good
settlement after this deposition. I already feel as though I have won on
principle alone... although I don't think they will ever get it and they will
continue to treat others the same way they treated me. Very sad. At least I'm
out of there now. Thank God. Thanks Again... I have referred your book to others
and will continue to do so. God bless you for writing it. I know it was God that
led me to you.
